SNEAK PEEK: 2020 MAZDA6 SIGNATURE SKYACTIV®-D IN SAN ANTONIO

Mazda tells us that Mazda6 Signature Skyactiv®-D will feature a super-responsive, turbocharged diesel engine. The performance of this upcoming Mazda6 is inspired by the Japanese concept of Jinba Ittai, a dynamic referring to the oneness between horse and rider. Though in this case, of course, it will be the oneness between Mazda car and driver.

To match the inspiring performance under the hood, the interior of the Mazda6 Signature Skyactiv®-D will be just as sumptuous. There will be premium materials like Sen wood and Nappa leather, as well as Ultrasuede® trim, inspired by the subtle sheen of the fabric used in traditional Japanese kimonos.

Two gasoline engines are available, a 2.5-liter four-cylinder producing 187 horsepower and 187 lb-ft of torque or a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder bumping up the power to 250 horses and 310 lb-ft of torque.
